FFS International has had a refresh.
Following a quiet period, it is now looking to grow as a company. We plan to put out articles on a recurring basis and will cover past projects, experiences and learnings, updates from the company.
A few things have happened over the last period. Here are the major headings
Farewells and New Faces
We said farewell to Tony Hurter in October 2023. He passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side. He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Diane Christine (née Ellcock), his son, Gregg (and his wife, Allison), his daughter, Patricia (and her husband, Walter Lunsmann), and his four grandchildren (Euan, Sean, Helen, & Craig), as well as many nieces and nephews.
As partners, Tony and Diane created a family, built a remarkable business, and traveled the world, and by all standards, lived an extraordinary life together across three continents.

In a fitting continuation of the family legacy, Tony’s grandson, Euan, has joined FFS International. This now gives a permanent FFS International presence in the UK, where Euan is based. He has previously been working the nickel and titanium superalloy industry, focussing on the development of metal processing and industrial cleaning. This experience diversifies the knowledge base of FFS International.
New Direction
FFS International is moving with the times and altering its strategic direction. We are now primarly consulting with clients to implement and improve their industrial process. The aim is impact. We will be the first to state if we cannot bring tangible value to a project, and given the push on efficiency and sustainability, industries and business need no-nonsense solutions and support to thrive in the industrial climate.
In addition, FFS International is looking to develop its own new R&D portfolio focussing on critical resources. Given the expertise, experience, and history, there is a long track record of refining end of life products in a pragmatic manner. Our initial project is the build of another pilot plug flow reactor for both supercritical and subcritical processing of various feedstocks.
New Website
And lastly, with everything being changed and updated, it was fitting to launch a new website.
Streamlined and simplified, the goal is to put you in touch with us.
